Milano Marittima international Jazz Festival

CELS Events, in collaboration with the Municipality of Cervia and Pro Loco of Milano Marittima delivered the first edition of the Milano Marittima International Jazz Festival, a musical event that was held from June 27th to 29th, 2019. The Festival was created with the aim of increasing quality tourism in Milano Marittima. Solution Set up on the open Rotonda 1 Maggio, the main stage was the beating heart and life of Milano Marittima, where the great names of world jazz would alternate performances. The festival brought some of the most important artists of the world jazz scene to Milano Marittima featuring INCOGNITO, Nik West and Paolo Fresu & Jazz Inc. Additionally, on the first evening Mario Biondi joined INCOGNITO as a special guest. Outcome The event aided in positioning the city as a high quality music and entertainment destination with numerous PR coverage throughout the news in Italy. The festival was a good step forward in the city’s goals to increase tourism throughout the year. The festival sold 1,900 tickets over the 2,400 seats available followed by after parties and appearances at various bars and clubs.
